Hope Bay is a delightful small lakeside spot said to be the warmest water in Georgian Sound because of its shallowness. Permanent population is small with many holiday houses. Much of the lakeshore is taken up with private jettys/launching facilities and lakeside seating/gardens. One tends to forget that this is fresh water so lakeside gardens are possible.
