HH Day 7 : Copley to Mt Chambers Gorge 04 (Nepabunna still)

The church has been renovated, but not changed structurally.
The old mission gong, that used to signal all major activities of the mission
(clinic, store, services...), now hangs outside.
The cemetery has been developed with a quite impressive gate.
It would have to be one of South Australia's most beautifully located cemeteries.
We visited the creek where the main well was.
Mostly dry, the creek would flow within about twenty minutes of a decent thunder downpour.
We left, glad to have seen recent developments,
but sad that most people were out of town at the time of our visit.
Some Nepabunna people have known John since he was a young child.
Others have known us since we were their school teachers.

Always there is the backdrop of the Gammon Ranges and Mt McKinlay,
important parts of the ages old Adnyamathanha story.
