We last visited Litchfield almost 20 years ago.
It has been developed much since then with sealed roads and fenced walking tracks.
The main attraction is the several waterfalls.
Swimming is allowed at Florence Falls.

Tolmer Falls
and Wangi Falls are more isolated.
We were glad to take the back unsealed road from Litchfield over the Finniss River (below)
and on into Darwin via Berry Springs, avoiding the traffic on the highway.
