There were some magnificent cloud effects on the trip west along the Barkly Highway,
then north on the Stuart Highway
past a number of crowded camping spots, until we reached a late afternoon camp at Renner Springs
- not quite a bush camp, but pretty close,
by the bilabong with its family of geese.
Several nocturnal disturbances from them enriched our understanding of how the geese saved Rome.
