UNDARA CRATER

Before really getting into the trip, we diverted for a walk up onto one of the many craters left around Undara. The National Park is surrounded by cattle stations.
ALONG THE SAVANNAH WAY TO LEICHARDT LAGOON
Increasingly arid landscapes - rocky hills, dry river beds, wide plains,
Old mining towns and ruins.
Perhaps the most "different" public toilet we have seen yet - an old bank building.
LEICHARDT LAGOON
Fairly rough but friendly camping dedicated to bird and sunset watching.
Our camp and our neighbours.
