ON TO DARWIN
After an early start at Dunmarra we travelled directly to Darwin with only two diversions - Edith Falls just north of Katherine and Umbrawarra Nature park just out of pine creek.

Edith Falls - rather civilised and up market, but very pleasant. Good camping but heavily booked.
Umbrawarra Nature Park - a great drive and walk in, good bush camping, a swimming place.
A combination of Texting and UHF Radio saw us meeting Veronica, Stewart and Emily on the highway as we headed north to Darwin and they headed south to Moline. Having found and settled in to our accommodation at Palmerston, we went to see the second half of Jacob's basketball game then shopped on the way back. - a very long day.
