ON TO THE DAVENPORT RANGES
Before continuing the trip north we took time to explore some of the area immediately around and on Tower Rock.
Another innovative use of an old fuel drum?
Animal tracks and vegetation at the base of the rock.
Goanna?
Kangaroo?
Family graves - with a dish for visitors to leave water for birds.
The Binns Track northward interesting to drive.
A few kilometers on the Sandover Highway and a refuel at Amaroo Station.
Then on north towards the Davenports.
Hatches Creek Mine Ruins.
Iytwelepenty (Davenport Ranges) National Park - Old Police Station Waterhole. We were not disappointed - as beautiful as we had remembered it.
