Our day in Niagara dawned foggy and wet, but we went ahead with plans to visit the falls anyway.

After the falls, we walked down to the Whirlpool through some quite beautiful woodland - a fairly rough track and over 200 steps to be negotiated both down and up.
The whirlpool is a favourite fishing spot for locals.
If tomorrow dawns fine, we may return for a sunny visit on our way to Toronto.
