Port Mac Donnell end and homing

Our last day at Port Mac Donnell was mostly lazy and preparing for our trip back home - always with the wonderful view from our cottage.

On the way through Mount Gambier we halted briefly to see the Engelbrecht Cave - just from outside the fence since it was closed. We noticed that it has provision for divers.

Our return plans were for a reasonably leisurely trip via Beachport, Robe, Kingston and Meningie.

An old cottage by the road to Beachport.

and some interesting wetlands.

Approaching Beachport.

The old customs house

The Beachport light with a double rainbow.

Nora Creina, between Beachport and Robe.

The obelisk.

Wine making area just north of Robe.

Around Kingston.

The old Cape Jaffa light, reassembled in Kingston after it was replaced at Cape Jaffa.

The big crayfish.

Along the Coorong and Meningie.
