EXIT FROM WHITE MOUNTAIN
Tracks of a nocturnal visitor (not the tyre tracks),
AND ON TO CHARTERS TOWERS
A tiny, but incredibly well stocked, arts and crafts center in Pentland, a tiny town along the way.
Charters Towers has some striking architecture (both older and modern) along with its mining (gold then other) and World War 2 legacy.
Notice and waste paper can (lined with a plastic bag) in a public toilet
AND DALYRIMPLE NATIONAL PARK ON THE BURDEKIN RIVER
A lone grave found while walking near our campsite.
Our campsite by the Burdekin.
