Our trip to Sydney 02 (October 2010)

First overnight was Mildura, second was Canberra.
We took a motel near the city centre, getting up early for a photographic ramble around the city centre.

Our trip to Sydney 01 (October 2010)

Desperately in need of some escape from our "Busyness" we drove to Sydney for a week.
We left Adelaide on a wet and windy day that looked more like winter than spring,
The weather had preceded us on into Victoria and New South Wales.
Running water over the Sturt Highway - quite a baptism for our little Honda Jazz.

Flooded paddocks near Wagga.

Deep Creek Historic Bridge

It is the Labour Day Holiday Weekend, the first day of Summer Time in South Australia and perfect Spring weather at last,
so we decided to go for a picnic at the Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens.
On the way we discovered the Deep Creek Historical Bridge, down in a gully off Greenhill Road between Summertown and Uraidla. It is well preserved and has little grafitti - a quite special place.
